Parking Charge Notices (PCN'S) are a good alternative to clamping; the parking area in question would still have suitable signage erected, giving a high visual impact, hopefully deterring unauthorised vehicles from parking. In the event of unauthorised parking a Parking Charge Notice would be attached to the vehicle, the Parking Charge Notice explains very clearly why the parking charge has been issued and how to pay.
The PCN is normally fixed at £90.00 but if the charge is paid within seven day the total charge is reduced to £50.00.

5) If the charge is not paid within the specified time the vehicle owners details are obtained through the D.V.L.A database and our in-house debt recovery team takes steps to recover the amount .
